Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria

On 24 June 2025, on the sidelines of the meeting of the Administrative Council of the European Patent Organisation, a bilateral meeting was held in Munich between the delegations of the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office (HIPO) and the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria (BPO).

During the meeting, the parties overviewed the perspectives to develop cooperation.

On this occasion, Mr Szabolcs Farkas, President of the HIPO, and Ms Olya Dimitrova, President of the Bulgarian partner institution, signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two offices, which covers, among others, the following areas: exchange of information and experiences, training on intellectual property, as well as organisation of joint events.
